Fund Raising Activities and Our Supporters

As a not for profit organisation with charitable intents, CDFG sources of income are many and varied, according to the activity involved.  The following sources of income are in operation:

  1.  Donations and Grants from Well-wishers

CDFG receives donations and grants from well-wishers, who share the same interests and objectives as us, in promoting excellence in medical practice, social care, cultural awareness, healthcare, research and education.  These donations and grants can be for specific activities, projects and awards depending on the areas of needs of the community or individual that needs help.  Sometimes, we work with other not for profit organisations in achieving the aims of the donations and grants made by well-wishers or group of charitable people.

  1. Income from Educational Activities

CDFG promotes various educational activities and programmes at all levels.  These range from courses, conferences, workshops, seminars and community-based education.  These areas not only generate income for various community projects and good causes, but also help in promoting excellence in teaching and learning in different communities Worldwide.

  1.  Income from Research Activities

Meet the most important supporters and leaders of our organisation.

Professor Dr Marian Adamson

Professor Marian Adamson founded Community Development Foundation Group many years ago as a result of the experience she had from her many international medical and educational projects and she is still very much involved in voluntary work at CDFG. The CDFG Council and Committee have bestowed upon her a life membership of CDFG to thank her for her many years of service to the community, including her contribution to medicine, science and education in general.

Mrs Janet Simpson

Janet was looking for something to do after having retired, since she was starting to feel bored at home. In Community Development Foundation she has found her new calling and is currently one of the most important members of the organisation.

Professor Dr Samuel Nichols

Professor Samuel is a successful doctor and medical researcher from the USA, who spends a large part of his income and spare time on social matters. Many of our projects would not have been possible without his help.
